EUBCE_2

EUBCE 2021 & e-EUBCE 2021 online

29th European Biomass Conference & Exhibition

We are proud to announce the 29th EUBCE, taking place from 26th to 29th April, 2021 in Marseille France.

As an invitation to Scientists and Research in the whole field of the Biomass, Bioenergy & Bioeconomy, we would like to encourage the submission of scientific oriented abstracts within a wide range of topics of the global biomass sector.

It is our intention to organize the EUBCE 2021 as a real-world conference event in the beautiful location of Marseille. However, given the current course of the CoViD-19 pandemic, we offer already now the opportunity to participate in the e-EUBCE 2021, our online edition. Whilst we would regret to not meet all in person, we are also very much looking forward to contributors and audience which in the were unable to participate at the EUBCE. This is why this call for papers addresses also scientists, researchers, advanced students and young entrepreneurs, in particular from far-away countries.

As we all shape the future of bioenergy and bioeconomy, the EUBCE will be an excellent opportunity to join hundreds of experts in our highly interactive environment. We will feature video-streaming presentations with live Q&A, on-demand sessions, interactive booths within the exhibition floor and an engaging poster hall.

There will be also the new format of live Poster presentations, already successfully experienced  in the 2020 edition,  which will provide new opportunities to get personally in touch with us to find new contacts.

Come, learn, network and engage with the bioenergy and bioeconomy community!

11th European Conference on Industrial Furnaces and Boilers_Head

General Information

This 11th European Conference on Industrial Furnaces and Boilers is the latest in a series of very successful Conferences which have been held in Portugal since 1988. These have been attended by a large number of delegates from over 30 countries and approximately 90 papers have been presented at each Conference. In particular, the Conferences have attracted many participants from Industry and the wide range of papers have considered fundamental research as well as topics of a more practical and applied nature.

The main objective of the Conference is to provide an improved up-to-date understanding of the fundamentals, principles and practices associated with the design and operation of industrial furnaces and boilers and, in a broader view, of industrial systems and processes generating, transforming or using thermal energy from combustion. The Conference will be a means of disseminating information concerned with recent research and development activities in the field of furnace and boiler technology and related areas such as process and combustion control, efficiency optimisation of high-temperature energy application, and reduction of pollutant emissions. It is intended that waste incineration, biomass and oxy-fuel combustion will all feature heavily in the Conference Programme as well as more conventional aspects of combustion. The Conference will provide a forum for delegates involved in research, development, design and operation of furnace and boiler systems, and will also be of interest to those working in areas such as combustion science, fuel technology, energy management and air pollution control.
